After her husband's death, Manorama is left alone with an infant daughter. The daughter falls ill due to poor nutrition, and in an act of desperation Manorama leaves the daughter in front of the house of Seth Jagatnarayan Chaudhary, a wealthy man who, having recently lost his wife, decides to adopt the girl. The following day, Manorama manages to get a job in the house as a servant but while she gets to care for Sarita like a mother, she longs for a day when her daughter might call her mom. Meanwhile Sarita grows up to be a beautiful girl who soon finds herself in some romantic entanglements.

Aranyo and his friends set out an adventurous weekend and reach an old mansion. There they meet an old man who starts to tell them the history of the place, the story of 'Aalo' and 'Chhaya'. The last landlord of that estate,' Jogyo Datta' (Aalo Moshai), bought a Brahman child widow 'Surama' (Chhaya Devi) from 'Vrindavan' and gave her shelter in his family. Gradually, Surama becomes not only the Queen of Jogyo's heart but also the Empress of Jogyo's estate. But to spare the both of them from the criticisms of the society, Surama pressurizes Jogyo to marry Protul. And this marriage brings an agonizing denouement in everyone's life.

Kalo Bhromor is a murder mystery in which Hari the caretaker of the guest house Kalo Bhromor and Saathi, the daughter of the owner of the Kalo Bhromor are murdered and Smriti, Saathi’s sister is raped. Smriti and Saathi’s sisters Saswati, Srija, Nilabha, Saswati’s husband, Sabuj, Nilabha’s brother are the suspects with other residents of the guest house. The story unfolds gradually to uncover the real culprit.

The sylvan settings of North Bengal where light and shade play amid the somber lines of conifers and eucalyptus. The winding serpentine roads curling along a green mountain like lazy laces. Perhaps the ideal place for a game of black, white and grey. A writer comes to Kolkakham with his trophy wife for a holiday. In a most unexpected place he is run down by a car and goes into coma. He wakes up in a hospital after 3 days to an inspector questioning his identity. The only things he remembers are his name Samrat Ray, his wife's name Sayani and the hotel they are staying at. Inspector Chettri takes him to his wife who refuses to recognize him. Instead she introduces them to her husband and their friends. Now begins a perfect mind game to solve a riddle that keeps taking the protagonist to people and places where he keeps getting trapped in the intrigues of lies, deceit and betrayal.

Durga feels a divine connection with the mentally unstable Dev, but the two have never met. With Mata Rani on her side, can she pull him out of his trauma?
